okay I've heard just about enough of this crap.... you should all be ashamed of yourselves...

this whole "orphaned works" Law is the work of one article and one man who is at the very least a total douchebag...

I would link you to were I found out about this, but unfortunately its on yGallery and aparently even to link to something there could get me banned here, so I'll just sum it up for you...

the administrator on yGallery is getting pissed about users talking about this article as if was real so he put a few good pieces of advice out there... Google or Wikipedia the subject if you stumble across an article like this again, it has no backing and the government site he looked on has no pending bill of any sorts like that...

thsi is what I replied to the journal telling the truth about this whole mess..

I've not even heard of this until now, but I think people should be more sure of the facts and check sources before getting out the pitchforks and torches and writing petitions

I guess it just goes to show that people will believe anything, even if its on the net...

and another thing.. I know our government is flawed and has many problems with its system, but legislatures would never allow a law like that to pass because even though they're greedy and do have corporations lining their pockets, they still wouldn't pass this because it would a) be deemed unconstitutional(eventually) b) screw over the people who vote for them and c) be totally f***ing stupid....

and thats from someone who has little to no faith in his government's system..

I'm very disapointed, I thought you all had more sense than to take that article for real...
now I'm not saying you're all guilty of falling for this guy's BS... personally I think its just a gimmick or a ruse to make himself more popular... maybe he thought global warming was done to death and there was no point in arguing it so he made up this fake copyright heist to get you all a flutter... some of you took snover's advice before jumping the idiot bandwagon.. and I applaud those who did...
